I would say that it's just like the Stock Market. There's an IPO (Initial Public Offering) such as the Stats the card has compared to those out already. It's ability, rarity, and max ATK/DEF. Apsara's went up and so did Valk's because of their abilities - Apsara's also for her max DEF points. The higher the demand for a card, the higher someone can ask for the card, the higher the value of the card. The less of a demand, the less the value. Buy low, sell high.

Just my 2 cents worth on this limitation. I see 2 possibilities.

1st Possibility
Over the years, the money laundering has developed itself into all sorts of sophisticated methods. E-gaming is one avenue. I believe that this has got to do with licensing and acts of anti money laundering activities that took place through trading in games for real money and using it for illegitimate purposes. Online gaming firms are required to adhere to certain regulations set out by authorities and the aim is not to eliminate money laundering but rather to reduce it to tolerable levels that e-gaming may assist in other crimes. Authorities expect to see sets of procedures or actions that firms lay out to reduce such risks.

2nd Possibility
RoB Management office acting as central bankers. Trading limitations = closed door economy. What do we do when the doors are closed? What do we do when we have no jobs? We basically eat ourselves and rely on our own savings till we find something out. This could be a way to reduce your excessive rupies balances stashed away or hp to regulate out a more balanced "economy" for the rest, or else, the disparity gap could be way too large and the game ("economy") may just fall apart. Isn't it the same for an economy that worries about income gap, the disparity between the rich and rags and how taxation came about to regulate it?

you lost me at stock market just kidding. thanks for the input. it actually makes sense. one more question (and again this may be silly) regarding the price increase... for a price to be "set" or to spread like wildfire, is it as simple as someone offering it at a higher price and someone buying? could it really all start with one transaction? or is there usually some sort of ratio on how much more you can add to a price?

(Yet another analogy)

Just like the price of gas goes up when the resources are expected to be low or the Arab nations decide to reduce production to increase profits per barrel. Also, to remain competitive, you can't just raise your price without justification. Many ads you'll see price lowered. Usually, cause someone needs the HP or he was too high to begin with. Overall, the ROB TOS VIOLATION market (players) determine what's it worth by buying a certain card at the requested price or NOT buying it. Also, if you see a lot more being sold, others will try to lower their price to get theirs sold first. With the market showing that others are 'trying' to get rid or ditch a certain card can also make the price fluctuate but generally, it settles to a steady price.

Way I see it, most prices will stay the same. Cards that have discontinued will most likely go up in price. Reason most cards will stay the same in my opinion is because there is a balance here, although yes cards will be disappearing from the market which would put prices up BUT so are holy powders which would bring prices down.

Just my 2 cents could be wrong.

Has anyone heard anything about when the trading ban is going to be lifted? This game gets mighty boring when you cant do any trades.

Most are speculating that since the New Login Campaign ends on Sept. 15th that it'll be after that. The new campaign is a way of keeping players by giving them something each day. I also think it's to quite possibly get those that were using emulators to login and snatch their IP address and ban their accounts or something of the sort.

But it sucks this way, having to wait so long:/ i guess it will end by 15th too i mean since they say u cant trade or gift that S rare card until further notice or something?

I don't think you can actually trade the card at all, with or without limitations.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's what the announcement says.

You are correct. The SR cannot be traded nor evolved at this time but later and it's supposed to come out in a later event as well.

So it's worth to hold onto it.

If you're demon realm.

It is very hard to decipher thier info., but it would simply be too simple for multiple accounters to get an FF for the new SR card just by trading within accounts. Even when the ban is over, 100% that card will not be tradeable. As it says though, you can acquire more of them from future events. From then, I believe they will be tradeable. Non-demon players have no use for it...

I love the first response to that post lol. TRACE THE HACKERS. BAN THEM. If only they realized that you CANNOT trace them back since the cards will probably go through multiple accounts and end up over 10 accounts away before the person realizes that they have been hacked. A second password is their best solution yet (...well...their ONLY solution so far, but still, not a bad idea) and wouldn't hurt anybody. It would also allow people to look over the trade once again before they accidentally trade for a rupie scam >_>

Yeah and I only heard about the Rupie scam a week ago. (I'm still about 1 month new to this game)

As has been said, you can not trade this card at all. If you look at the Jap version they have similar cards that can not be traded. All this means is that you must keep card unless you can get another from event/quest etc. Once the card has been evolved you are free to trade. It is to stop people with feeder accounts from creating monster SSR's straight away....although I can still think of a few ways around it. Bottom line, if you ever want to trade it you need to go all out to get another, hope this helps

So we have all been setting up plans to trade with specific people... Check out in game the new notice about the 2 week fellow/order or use the bazaar with tickets announcement. It sound to me like we won't be able to follow through on those offers unless we fellow up and wait 2 weeks.... Or we trade anonymously in the bazaar with a max number of trades per day based on the tickets:(

Geez. It's almost a good thing that I didn't set up ALL those trades. It'll be harder to sell and this forum may become obsolete as far as WTT/WTS. WOW!

So 90% of my trades are void and my favorite RoB site is soon to be useless. What the flying fluckery was Cygames thinking.

If you read the announcement carefully it says that you will be able to trade with fellows unrestricted, at least that is what it says, you will only be able to trade with order members unrestricted if they have been a member of your order for 2 weeks or longer. You can only hold 5 of these bazaar tickets at any one time and if you are trading anything about an sr it takes 5 tickets to complete the trade, so you only get one trade per day if you are trying to trade high level cards. Also they are putting a price cap on all the cards in the bazaar according to rarety. So what is the price cap going to be? Personally I think this is a bit extreme. What if no one is trading a card that we are looking for in the bazaar? Do we just poke around blind in this bazaar thing hoping to find what we are looking for? Either that or everyone is going to have to keep some fellow spots open at all times to complete trades. Fellow, trade, unfellow, which you would only be able to do once a day without loosing any points from your stam atk or def points. I think that if they don't find a better way to handle this they are going to loose a lot of users.

Watch them come up with "Buy 10-Special Bizarre Ticket and get special permission to use these without Limitations. Unlimited Trading applies to Special Bizarre Tickets only. only 3000 Rage Medals!!!"
